A BIM project manager oversees the digital component of the project. They manage the project team and provide recommendations as to strategy, procedures and best modeling practices.
EXCEPTIONAL PERSONALIZED SERVICE
Only the best will do for you, as a builder. So you’re looking for an agile partner who’s your equal. We start by listening and then recommending the right choices for your organization. That has been the key to becoming the largest team of BIM data management professionals in North America.

OUR SERVICES
BIM MANAGEMENT PLAN
The BIM management plan (BMP) is a contractual document that defines the scope of the project, the structure and the general terms on a specific part or on all the phases of the project. At a minimum, it includes project information, BIM objectives and uses, levels of required information by discipline, quality control and quality assurance considerations and the standards required by the organization (tools and specific processes, file formats, etc.) Depending on its content, the document can be prepared either by the professional or the client.
BIM EXECUTION PLAN
In keeping with the BMP, the BIM execution plan (BEP) defines the specific methods and means to be mobilized by the production teams on a part (design, construction) or the BIM project as a whole. The BEP includes the processes and procedures to be deployed, the modeling strategy, a description of the models to be produced as well as the technical and technological specifications.
Each professional or professional area is responsible for drafting their own BEP and sharing it with the other professionals or professional areas.
BIM COORDINATION AND CLASH DETECTION
A BIM project usually involves multiple models, including architectural models, structural engineering models, electro-mechanical models as well as other trade, professional and manufacturing models, to name just a few.
CONSTRUCTION SIMULATION (4D)
On-site logistics and installation phases are crucial to a construction site. Planning and analysing the sequence of work optimizes the schedule and avoids potential conflicts.
ESTIMATION AND COST ANALYSIS (5D)
BIM One uses models to estimate and analyse costs. This avoids take off duplication, and the focus is limited only to what has been modeled. This significantly reduces the chance of errors.
BUILDING OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE (7D)
Data related to operations and maintenance should be structured in a way that corresponds to the tools and the processes in place. With well-structured, quality data, improved productivity and better service are the result.
3D MODELING
The quality of your models determines their usefulness in subsequent project stages. BIM One will help you develop the complete set of models you require to achieve your project objectives
SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT
Because a model is a rich source of date, the possibility of automation is limitless. Developing scripts, for example, can optimize design concepts, create personalized tools or reduce repetitive tasks.
EXISTING CONDITIONS CAPTURE & MODELING
In partnership with Can-Explore, we provide integrated turn-key services that allow you to generate models of existing buildings and infrastructure.
QUALITY CONTROL AND CONFORMITY TO SPECS
When the team delivers a BIM model, we ensure that the model contains all the data specified in the BMP.
BIM PROJECT AUDIT
Understanding the scope of the BIM that has been deployed provides the opportunity to determine un-exploited potential and errors that need to be corrected.
TRAINING
A generic solution does not apply to everyone. We understand that out of the box, ready to use BIM software doesn’t necessarily meet everyone’s needs.
MENTORING
Classroom training is great for sharing basic knowledge. But with time, people begin to learn by themselves. Levels of knowledge are not consistent and resolving problems becomes more complex. Strategies proliferate, and choices need to be made. That’s where mentoring and accompaniment come in and allow for raising levels of competence.
CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
Creating parametric models is useful in evolving iterations of project concepts using the BIM process.
STANDARDS DEVELOPMENT
BIM, VDC and CIM technologies are all about coherent data consistency. When a model is developed in a standardized way, it will be more coherent and therefore easier to interpret and use.
PROCESS ANALYSIS
Deploying any technology requires technological and staff change. Change needs to be managed and carefully documented.
STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT
We offer BIM, CIM and VDC strategy development to leading organizations who are ready to join the digital age.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
Our software development team studies, conceives, constructs, transforms, perfects, maintains and improves BIM and CAD software.
