Continuous improvement, agility, quality control and excellence guide our business practices. Quality is non-negotiable. We’re constantly seeking to improve our organizational processes and working methods. Individual tasks and working methods, which lets us discover the best way to accomplish each task, and then standardized it in our workflow. These refinements, combined with new technological advances, allow our clients to get premium services. Our clients are always our top priority, so we never miss an opportunity to get their feedback and improve our process and approach.
We’re a part of the BIM community at large. We’re members of Groupe BIM du Québec, buildingSMART Canada, Canada BIM Council, and the “Table multisectorielle BIM du Groupe de recherche en intégration et développement durable en environnement bâti” (GRIDD). We are also a proud partner of the Industrial Research Chair on the Integration of Digital Technologies in Construction at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS Montréal) and several other college and university institutions to support the development of skilled labor in Quebec.
We know that by supporting construction industry stakeholders in their major transformation, human resources change management remains the main concern. To ensure the success of our projects, we always put people first – both within our own team and with our clients. Our approach prioritizes participation, education, and collaboration. We believe that unless you put human beings first, the process and technology lose their efficiency, regardless of the BIM quality.
We base all our recommendations on unchanging objectivity by evaluating the best products and services for our clients. The BIM One team is neutral and relies on an in-depth analysis (projects, customers, market) to develop and recommend innovative solutions. Our customers often mention their appreciation of this neutrality and innovation. Even though we have technologies and platforms developed in-house, we will only recommend solutions that will benefit the client’s projects; applying the principle of the right tool for the proper use at the right time. This approach is essential to achieving our mission and has helped build our reputation over time.
Although the ultimate objective of a BIM project is to deliver a high-performance building respecting both time and budget, the secondary role, as BIM consultants, is to properly convey best practices. Through training, coaching, and presentations, the team at BIM One is involved in guiding clients, educational institutions, and stakeholders to apply the BIM approach to construction methods.
